Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, grabbed a glass after work 🥃. Smells like autumn leaves and a bit of peat 🍂. On the pallet... smooth, sweet like toffee 🍬. Warmth goes down easy, no harshness. Proper relaxing innit. Maybe a bit watery if u add ice but neat is best. Feel good vibes only 😌🔥 Definitly my kinda drink.

Proper lovly dram this. 🥃 Nose is smoky, remindes me of peat. 🔥 Taste? Honey and oak 🍯. Smooth finish. Perfect for a rainy nite. 🌧️ Cheers! 🍻

Just had a dramm... 👃 First sniff is all burnt toffee and autumn leaves. 🔥🍯 Mouthfeel's proper oily, coats the tongue. Getting some spiced apple and a hint of damp wood. Finishes long, warming... like a hug from a cashmere jumper. 👌 Might add a drop of water next time. 🚰

🥃 Proper smooth, init? Bit of fruit, like autumn apples but darker. Sweet but not sickly - brown sugar maybe? Get a little spice kick too, like cinnamon on your tongue. 🔥 Nose... 🌰 nuts and oak? Warm vanilla comes through strong. That finish though - 🔥 long and warming, like a cozy fireplace in winter. Propelly nice one this. Not too harsh. Could sip this all eve while the rain's pelting outside. 👍

Just sipped this whisky – the nose is all honey and oak, with a hint of smokiness. 😌 Taste-wise, it's smooth like butterscotch, with some fruity notes coming through. A bit of spice on the finish, real warming! 🥃 Definately a keeper for a cozy evening. 👍

Right then, first sip and... wow, that's proper nice. Got a bit of 🍎 apple and honey upfront, like. Then it goes all warm and spicy, hints of cinnamon and a bit of old leather chair. Finish is long, with some vanilla and a touch of burnt sugar. Smashing stuff. 😋

Nose is full of sherry, rich and fruity. I get spiced orange 🍊 and a bit of dark chocolate. Then it’s all about the smoke – not too heavy, more like a cozy bonfire 🪵. Taste is proper smooth. Vanilla and butterscotch hit first, then some cinnamon spice. There’s a lovely dried fruit thing going on, reminds me of Christmas cake. A bit of oak and leather in the back, very elegant. Finish is long and warming. Hints of honey and a final touch of smoke. Really well balanced, mate. Like a warm hug in a glass. Cheers! 🥃
