Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, had a dram of this tonight 🥃. Nose is proper smoky, like peat fires and honey 🍯. Remindes me of walking through the highlands. Taste hits warm. Spicy oak, maybe some dried fruit. Smooth going down, no harsh burn. Finish lingers nicely 🔥. Makes you wanna stay by the fireplace all evening. Solid whisky this one. Cheers.

Ah, this whisky's got a right proper kick to it, innit? 🥃 First off, there's this lovely warmth that spreads right through ya, like a cozy fire on a rainy day. 🔥 I'm getting hints of smoky peat – not too overpowering, mind – mixed with some sweet vanilla and a bit of dried fruit. Really smooth, it is. Makes me feel all fuzzy and content, like a good natter with an old mate. 😊 Sometimes I misspell things a bit, like "definately" but it's all good, yeah? Cheers! 🎉

This whisky’s got a real smooth feel, like honey and vanilla dancing on the tongue. A bit of spice and woodiness, with a subtle smoky edge that lingers. Perfect for winding down after a long day. 😊🥃 Really enjoyed it—nothing too over the top, just a solid, comforting dram.

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper smokey vibe on the nose! 💨 Tastes kinda fruity, with a hint of honey sweetness. 🍯 Finish is long, with some spicy oak notes. 🌳 Quite a decent dram, innit? 😋

Oh this one's got that proper mellow warmth... 🔥 Nose is all smoky vanilla and caramel, with a bit of dark fruit peeking through. Quite like a toffee apple left by the fire, y'know? On the palate, it’s got a lovely spiciness - oak and some cinnamon, maybe a touch of citrus zest to brighten it up. 👌 Finish is long and warming, leaves a nice sweetness behind. Perfect for a cold evening, that. 🥃

Right, so this one's proper interesting. First sip? All smoky and a bit oaky, like a walk through a damp forest. 🌲 Then it opens up with this lovely sweetness - think dark chocolate and a hint of stewed fruit. Quite warming on the way down, that first sip hits just right. Gets a bit spicy later, black pepper maybe? And a finish that just... lingers. Reminds me of an old leather armchair and a peat fire. Good stuff. 👍

Cracking dram, this one. 🥃 Starts off with a bit of smoke, like a bonfire on a misty morning. Then you get some sweet notes – a bit of honey and vanilla, maybe. 🌿 Finish is long and warming, with a touch of spice. Really lovely after a long day. 😊 Proper comforting, it is. 🏠
