Bruichladdich 1968 21 Years Single Malt Whisky

Just had this one neat... 🥃 First hit is all smoky peat, like a bonfire on the moors 🔥. Then comes this lovely, warm honey sweetness that lingers. Quite chewy on the tongue, innit? Dried fruits pop up after, raisins maybe? And a bit of oak. Doesn't need water for me, it's perfect as is. 👌 A proper winter dram, this.

Oh blimey, this whisky's got a right nice smoothness! 🥃 Hints of apple and pear, with a bit of spice at the end. Really enjoyeable, innit? 😊 The finish is long and warm. Proper lovely!

The nose hits you with proper vanilla and a wisp of smoke. 🥃 On the palate, it's all honey and baked apple, with a wee bit of cinnamon spice. Quite smooth, honestly. The finish is warm and a little oaky. Very moreish! 👍 Hmm, gets a bit smokier as you go. Proper nice on a cold night. 🔥
