Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right then, poured a generous nip 🥃. Sniiffs up dark peat with a dash of citurs zest 🍋🔥. Hits the back o' throat smootly, velvety texture. Sweetness creeps in after the smoke fades, think figs an' custard 🍮. Bit salty neear the end, gives it edge. Oakey notes too 🪵. Doesnt linger too long but leaves u wanting more 🤷‍♂️. Definately impressed so far 👍. Just what the doctor ordered for a chily eve 🌙. Nothin' fancy just good ol' spirits. 🥂

Right, had a dram just now 🥃. Colur is lovely gold. Nose hits with sweet hony 🍯. Taste is smooth.. warms the chest. Gets a bit peaty later on. Finish lingers alot. Proper cozy for a cold nite 🌧️. Feels like a hug innit. Cheers.

First sip: got a real peaty kick, like bonfire smoke and damp earth 🏕️🔥 Then there's this sweet, fruity thing going on – apples and maybe some raisins. A bit of vanilla too, luvly! Finish is long and spicy, warms ya right up. Cracking stuff! 👍 Sometimes it's got a slight oily texture, but that's part of the charm, innit? 🥃😊 Oh, and a faint hint of salt in the back – reminds me of seaside walks. Wouldn't say it's for everyone, but I'm proper chuffed with it.

Blimey, this whisky's a proper treat! I'm gettin' hints of peat smoke right off the bat, with a bit of citrus and maybe some dark chocolate. 🍊🍫 The finish is long and warmin', with a subtle spicy kick. Quite a dram, innit? 😄 Cheers! 🥃

Cheers mate, this whisky's got a proper smokey vibe 🔥, like a campfire but mellowed out. There's a nice fruity sweetness in there too, kinda like ripe apples 🍎. A bit of spice on the end, makes you go 'mmph'. Really smooth to sip, lovely on a chilly evening.
