Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, had a wee dram of this last night 🥃. Nose is proper sweet, like honey and vanila 🍯. Bit of orange peel too. Palate got a bit of spice, cinnamon maybe? Smooth going down. Finish is warm... lovelly stuff 🔥. Lasts quite awhile. Definately one for the collection. Reminds me of something my dad used to have. Cheers 🍻.

Aye, this dram’s got a lovely oily feel – deep an’ clean. Touch of rye spice, maybe a wee bit of toffee 🍯, and that soft fruit note (grape? 🤷). Finish is proper smooth, no harsh edges. Reet nice, innit. 🥃

Ooh, this one's got a right lovely nose on it, I reckon. Started with a bit of that warm, baked apple and maybe... a hint of toffee? Then comes through this gentle, woody spice – think a cinnamon stick left in your tea. 🍂 Sip it neat, and it's proper smooth, like. A touch of citrus zest, maybe some vanilla, and then... oh, a soft, peaty smokiness drifts in at the back. Not too much, just a wee whisper. 🔥 Finish is medium-length, warming. Leaves you with a memory of that smoke and a dry, nutty sort of taste. Aye, I'd have another dram of that. 👍 The only thing is, it got a bit... punchy right at the end, like. Could be the alcohol making itself known. But all in all, a really solid, comforting pour for a quiet evening. 🥃

Malty smooth, bit o' honey & vanilla… 🎵 lingerin' warmth, sorta creamy with a spicy edge. Afters? Toasty oak, hint o' fruit maybe. Thirst-quenchin' but kinda complex. 🔥 solid dram.

5#5

Oh, this one's got a proper salty hit at the start – like a hint of sea salt on the tongue! 🌊 Then a bit of spice creeps in, kinda peppery. 🌶️ There's a faint smokiness in the background, not too strong. Pretty tasty for a wee dram. 😊 A bit sweet too, maybe? Hard to tell, but it's got layers. Really like it. #WhiskyVibes
