Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Aye, this one’s got a right bonnie nose—stewed orchard fruits 🍎, a touch of heather honey, and just a whisper of smouldering oak embers. On the gob, it’s oily and warm, coating every nook with toffee-ish sweetness, sultanas, then a proper kick of cinnamon and white pepper. The finish hangs about with a gentle, earthy smoke and a salty tang, like driftwood after a beach fire 🔥🌊. Cracking dram, that. Slàinte 🥃

Ooh, this whisky's a right beaut! 🥃 Smells like a cozy campfire – peaty and smoky with a bit of honey sweetness underneath. 🍯 Taste is rich and malty, lovely vanilla notes too. Finish is long and warming, hint of spice. Proper smashing! 👍 Cheers! 😋

Ach, that’s a right lovely dram! Starts with a bang of smoky caramel - think burnt toffee on a cold night. Then... zing! Like orange peel studded with clove. Quite bold. After a minute, it softens. Get this weird but nice hint of... book pages? Old leather? Finish is long, warming, a bit like gingerbread. Overall rather moreish. 🥃🔥 Not bad at all, that.

Ah, this drma's a real treat! Starts off with a burst of fresh apples, then turns into something more complex with vanilla and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and warming, like sitting by a fire on a cold night. Cheers! 🥃🔥

Blimey, this whisky's got a right nice citrus kick 🍋, makes my mouth water a bit. There's some peatiness underneath, kinda earthy, and a smoky finish that lingers 🔥. I'd say it's smooth with a touch of honey sweetness, maybe some vanilla in there too. Really enjoyabel on a cold evening! 🌟 Oh, and a hint of spicy notes, like cinnamon or summat. Goes down well, mate. Just a tad of oakiness as it settles. Proper balanced, innit? 👍
