Glen Spey Old Malt Cask 1997 18 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram tonight 🥃. Nose is proper smokey, bit of peat 🌫️. Then some sweet fruit kicks in, like apple 🍎 and almond 🌰. Taste is warm... spicy 🌶️. Definatly some salt on the finish, like sea breeze 🌊. Hint of sherry too 🍷. Goes down smooth tho. Proper lovely for a rainy evening 🌧️. Would recomend 👍.

Ooh, that's a proper lovely drop. 🥃 First thing you get is a wave of **smooth honey** and some **spicy vanilla**. Right behind it, a bit of **dry raisins** and **almonds**, like a posh fruitcake. Then it turns a bit more **warming**... a touch of **smoke** and **cinnamon**. Reminds me of **heather** and **peat** on a damp day. Quite **rich** and **earty**. Finale is long, with **oak** and a whisper of **dark chocolate**. Rather **moreish**, that. 👍
