The Glenrothes Small Batch 1997 20 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, just had a nip of this 🥃. Colur is beautiful, deep gold like sunset 🌅. Smell is warm... vanilla and a bit of smoke? 🪵 Goes down easy, no harshness at all. Finish is long, leaves you feelin' cozy 🔥. Proper nice whiskys, reckon I'll have another. Cheers! 🍻

Had a right good dram last night, innit? 👅 First sip, big smoky kick, like bonfire smoke. Then comes this fruity bit, apples and pears, lovely. 🍐 A bit of honey sweetness after, and maybe some vanilla too. 🍯 Spicey notes at the end, nice and warm. Proper enjoyable, that. 😋

Oh this one's got me thinkin' of cozy autumn nights by the fire 🍂 First hit is rich dark chocolate an' coffee, like proper strong espresso ☕ Then comes this lovely sweet toffee, almost like burnt sugar. A whisper of cinnamon warmth too 🌰 Get some apple n' cherry fruitiness underneath, reminds me of them baked fruit crumbles me nan makes 🍎🍒 Finish has a right nice leather an' old oak vibe, very gentleman's study 🪵 Can't miss the smoky peat either – earthy, bonfire-like 🏕️ It's proper moorin' an' heathery, like walkin' in Scotland after rain 🌧️ Fancies itself a bit complex this one, innit? Definitly for contemplatin' over, not rushin' 🤔 *takes another wee sip* 🥃

Ah, right then! 🥃 First sniff, get a lovely smokky peat, rather like a seaside bonfire. Then there's this proper dried fruit sweetness, almost like a chrsitmas cake. 🎄 On the sip, oof! A bold wave of vanilla oak and dark honey. 🍯 It's a bit spicy, honestly, like black pepper and a touch of cinnamon. Very warming indeed. The finish lingers with that smokiness and a dry, oaky tannin. Rather complex, this one. Proper winter dram! ❄️🔥
