Bunnahabhain 1987 26 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, just had a wee dram 🥃. Nose is proper nice... hints of honey and smoke 🍯. Goes down smooth, warms the chest straight away 🔥. Definitly feels like a cozy evening by the fire. No harshness, just comforting vibes. Perfect for unwindin' after work. Cheers mates 🍻.

Alright then! So, first nose... ooh, there’s this lovely waft of golden honey 🍯 and something like vanilla, almost like a rich crème brûlée. Then it gets a bit more interesting - a soft, creamy toffee comes through, maybe a hint of baked apple 🍎? On the palate, it’s proper warm and comforting 🔥. You get that honeyed sweetness first, then a gentle wave of malt and perhaps a whisper of dried fruit. It’s not sharp at all, more like a smooth, oaky hug. The finish is a long, satisfying sigh of sweetness and spice... a bit like a spicy ginger snap biscuit left out by the fire. Left me with a right content smile, it did. 😊 A real treat, this one. Bit of a journey from sweet to warm to just... lovely.
