Benrinnes 2005 13 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right so, grabbed a glass of this after work. 🥃 Smell is proper peaty, like walking past a bog fire. 🌫️ But theres sweet bits too, vanilla and caramel maybe? Like a tart shop. 🍬 First sip warms you right up. Bit of spice on the tongue, not burnin' though. Oaky woodiness comes through after a second. 🔥 Finish is long, definatly. Leaves a nice heat in the throat. Proper good for a chilly evening. Reccon I'll keep a bottle handy. 🪵✨

Honey and caramel sweetness in the back which is just beaut ✨ Bit of spice and ginger on the finish - wakes you right up. Oak and leather doing their thing too. Dried fruit and plum give it that autumn vibe 🍂 Hints of mint, maybe some apple and pear. Touch of butterscotch and malt aswell. Really well balanced over all. Would deffo pour meself another dram 🤤
