Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, poured a double earlier. 🥃 Smells like old libary books and smoke🔥. First sip is warm, honney-ish but rough. Hits the back of the throught nicely. Aftertaste lingers, bit oak maybe? Proper cosy feelin'. Definatly one for a rainy evening. Would have another glass tbh. ✨
Right, just poured meself a dram 🥃. Smells like bonfire night🔥, bit of smoke but sweet too. Proper relaxin. Taste is warm, honeyish🍯. Goes down smooth like. Real cozy feelin on a rainy eve. Colur is lovely gold. Cheers mates 🍻.
Right, here goes… Popped the cork and it’s like sticking your nose in a bowl of stewed fruits, a bit of toffee, and that soft, earthy smell of an old wardrobe 🪵. *Lovely*. First sip, no— *definately* no burn, just a gentle hug. Caramel digestives drizzled with honey 🍯, then this wee kick of peppery spice sneaks in right at the back. A bit of orange peel too. The finish stays put, all warm and oaky, like sitting by the fire when it’s pishing down outside 🌧️🔥. Really moreish, that is. Could happily sip this slow all evening. No name, no ages, just good gear. Cheers 🥃.
Bloody hell, this one's got layers! 😮 First thing is this big wave of sweet stuff... like burnt sugar and maybe some dark honey. Then comes the real kick - a proper smoky hit, almost like a bonfire night 🏕️ mixed with something kinda earthy. Aftertaste lingers with a bit of spice... cinnamon maybe? And a subtle nutty vibe. Quite the rollercoaster in one glass! 🤯🔥 Flavours work together nicely though. Not too harsh. Pretty good sipper for a cold evening. 👍
First thing I notice is a lovely smell — honey, a bit of vanilla, maybe some dried fruit? 🍯 The taste is proper nice, quite smooth actually. I'm getting some gentle spice, like cinnamon maybe? And a touch of citrus. 🍊 Not too peaty at all, which I quite like. There's a warmth to it that spreads nicely. Finish is decent, stays with you for a bit. Sweet aftertaste with maybe a hint of chocolate? 🤎 Overall quite pleasant — easy to drink without being boring. Would definitely have another dram. 👍
Rich, smoky, peaty... totally bonfire night vibes 🔥 A bit of fruit sweetness in there too, like dark cherries 🍒 and some lovely honey notes. Gets smoother as it sits. Really warming on the tongue. Defo a slow sipper by the fire. 🥃 Finish is long, a bit spicy and oaky. Love it.
First sip: get that lovely smokey kick 🔥, like a bonfire gone quiet. Then comes the sweet part, honey and vanilla notes really come through. 🍯 Mid-palate: bit of fruitiness, maybe apples or something. Quite smooth, that. 🍎 Finish: gentle warmth, no harshness. Proper enjoyable dram! 👍
First sip - oh! Bit of sweet vanilla 🌼 and smoky 🔥, like a bonfire on the beach. Then comes this lovely fruitiness, pear maybe? So smooth going down, honestly. 🥃 Notes of... wait is that dark chocolate? And a hint of spice at the end, ginger perhaps. Really warming, perfect for a chilly evening. 🍂 The finish lingers a bit, a nice wee warmth in the chest. Definitely one to savour slowly. 🥰
Right so I tried this one last night... 🥃 First sip — wow, proper toasty innit? Like warm bread straight from the oven. Got this lovely vanilla thing going on, kinda creamy almost 🍦 Then there's this sweetness, not sickly or nuffink, more like... honey mixed wiv dried fruit? Very pleasant. Bit of spice comes through after, maybe cinnamon or smthng 🍯 The smokiness is subtle, not like a campfire in ur face, more gentle. Really nice actually. Some woody notes too, oaky I reckon 🪵 Honestly sat there going "mmmm" for a bit lol. Very warming, perfect for a cold evening init. Would deffo have again 👌 Nose is gorgeous as well — get apples, maybe some citrus peel, and that malty sweetness coming through 🍎 Yeah proper enjoyed this one. Smooth as anything. 8/10 would recommend to a mate 🥃✨
