Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right then, just had a dram. 🥃 Nose is proper smoky, like a peat fire but sweet too. Honeycomb maybe? Taste hits warm... oakyness with a bit of fruit. Apple pear sort of thing. Finish lingers nicely, dont wanna rush it. Perfect for chillin after work. Real cosy feel. 🔥 Might have another glass tbh. Colur is lovely gold. Realy enjoyed this one. Cheers. 🍻

Proper dram this. Nose hits ya with stewed apples and a whiff of bonfire toffee 🍎🔥 Palatte’s rich, oily even — dried fruits, a touch of cinnamon, and this lovely malty biscuit note. Finish is long and warm, like sittin’ by the fire with a wool blanket. No rough edges at all. Cracking stuff 🥃

First sip, innit? 🥃 Tastes a bit like... burnt toast but sweet? Like, aye, there's honeye in there, maybe toffee too 🔥 Wait — smoky? No, more like... a bonfire from last night, still in your clothes. Finish is long, mate. Leaves you thinkin' 'bout it. Bit of oak, bit of spice. 👍 Not bad, not bad at all.

Oh, this one's got a bit of everything, innit? 🔥 I get this kinda warm, smoky thing right off – like sittin' near a bonfire on a chilly night. Then there's this lovely sweet wave, honey and vanilla, kinda like proper toffy. A bit of fruit comes through too, apples and maybe some orange zest? 🍎🍊 It's well smooth, not harsh at all. Leaves a nice, kinda oaky aftertaste that just lingers. Solid drop, this. 🥃

Right then... had a wee dram last night. First thing hits you is this rich, sort of dried fruit taste, like raisins in a pudding. 🍯 Then comes this lovely warm spice, a bit like cinnamon. It's got this smooth, kinda malty thing going on. Smoov as, like. The finish is proper long and warming, leaves a bit of oak and maybe a whisper of smoke. 🔥 Just sits there in the glass, smellin' of toffee and a hint of... somethin' floral? Can't put my finger on it. Really moreish, one sip makes you want another. Top notch for a cold evenin'.

Blimey, this whisky's got a right proper nose on it. 🥃 Whiffs of smokiness and a hint of honey, I reckon. Taste-wise, it's a bit spicy with some creamy notes. Quite smooth, innit? Finish is long and warming, like a cozy night by the fire. 🔥 Aye, real quality stuff. 😊
