Ardbeg 1966 21 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a dram tonight. 🥃 Proper smoky it is, like a peat fire. 🔥 Got some sweetnes too, kinda like honey 🍯 Finish is warm, spicey kick at the end. Lovley for a rainy eve. 🌧️ Cheers mates! 🍻

Right, so first thing I get is this deep, dark choclately note, like a fancy dessert 🍫. Then a bit of a spicy kick, maybe some cinnamon or nutmeg? After that, there’s a lovely sort of orange peel zesty thing going on, really brightens it up 🍊. It’s quite warming, you know, coats the mouth nicely. The finish is long, a bit peppery, with this gentle, sweet smokiness that lingers. Really quite morish, tbh. 👍

Nice one, that. Got a proper kick of smoke, like a damp bonfire maybe. Bit of honey sweetness underneath, cuts through it. Reminds me of dark chocolate and some stewed apple? Hmm, interesting combo. Warms you right up, this. 👍
