Blimey, this is a proper treat. It's got that classic red-vinous malt vibe, but then it just opens up into stewed fruits, peaches, and apricots. Honestly, the mix of Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, maraschino, and sweet praline is so good it almost makes you want to cry. There's some tea leaves in there too, with a tiny rubbery, peppery kick and a bit of bitter pine resin. The finish is rather long, it just lingers. What a lovely dram. 🥃
