This one comes in with a proper bang — ginger, cloves, caraway, that rye bread sort of thing, then loads of dark chocolate and chestnut honey. Honestly, it’s very spicy indeed, almost like a Thai dish with a tiny dab of mustard on the side 😅 A splash of water helps it swim a bit, brings out chestnut purée and Jamaican coffee, but the European oak still feels pretty heavy to me. Quite a dram for a cold evening.
