**The Torabhaig Story**:
In 2002, the late Ian Noble of Noble Grossart purchased 20,000 acres on Skye with a vision to convert a derelict 19th-century farm into a working distillery. After his passing, Marussia Group realized this dream, beginning renovation in 2014 and commissioning the distillery in 2017. Torabhaig now operates with a unique dual-team structure: seasoned industry veterans mentor local apprentices with no prior whisky experience, fostering true island craftsmanship.
**Product Portfolio**:
- **Legacy Series**: Annual small-batch, no-age-statement releases chronicling the distillery's evolution
- **Journeymen Series**: Experimental small-batch expressions crafted by apprentice distillers
- **Key Releases**: Torabhaig 2017 (2021), Allt Gleann Edition No.2 (2023, launched in China), Cnoc na Moine Edition No.3 (2024)
- **Future Milestone**: First 10-year-old single malt scheduled for 2028 release
Torabhaig represents Skye's second single malt distillery, offering whisky enthusiasts a new lens through which to experience the island's legendary whisky heritage – one of gentle landscapes, maritime character, and refined peat smoke.
