Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Syminton, an Edinburgh hotelier whose profound passion for Scotch whisky inspired him to establish an independent bottling company. Together with his brother Brian, Andrew embarked on an ambitious journey across Scotland, meticulously building relationships with distilleries both legendary and obscure. Their singular mission was to discover exceptional single malt casks and share these hidden treasures with whisky connoisseurs worldwide. From its modest beginnings in Edinburgh, Signatory has grown into one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers, renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality, authenticity, and the masterful art of cask selection.
