Natterjack Whisky Blended

Launched in February 2019 by Gortinore Distillers, headquartered in Waterford, Ireland, Natterjack Irish Whiskey represents the company's inaugural flagship expression. This triple-distilled spirit undergoes a unique dual-maturation process: initial aging in premium ex-bourbon American oak casks, followed by a finishing period in virgin American oak barrels, imparting distinctive character. Bottled at 40% ABV, Natterjack is positioned at €48 per 700ml bottle. The whiskey presents a sophisticated aromatic profile of crisp green apple, warm cinnamon bark, and subtle vanilla. On the palate, it delivers vibrant notes of candied orange peel, baking spices, aromatic cedarwood, and a delicate hint of cured tobacco, culminating in what critics describe as a "clean, remarkably fresh finish with lingering oak complexity." The brand targets both traditional whiskey enthusiasts and new consumers across key international markets including Ireland, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, and select European territories. Natterjack embodies the modern Irish whiskey renaissance while honoring traditional triple-distillation craftsmanship.
