Pale amber in the glass, proper seaside stuff straight away 🌊 I get brine, kippers, tarred rope and that TCP medicine cupboard thing, then a dry sherry edge with black olives, salted almonds and a squeeze of lemon. Quite bone dry, very salty, with BBQ embers and a wee bacon jam sweetness hanging about. Long finish, all iodine, tar, salted liquorice and cold road surface after rain. Feels like a dram for a tumbler by the fire, no fuss.
