Proper old-school dram, this. Dark as coffee and mahogany, with loads of black Christmas cake, chocolate and that dry sherry feel I really love. Got a wee flash of mint, then cigars, chewing tobacco, a pinch of salt, and somehow wet fern after a walk on the moor. Big, dark, cosy stuff 🥃

First sip felt properly old-school and cosy, all dark chocolate, prunes and dry toffee. Got that black Christmas cake thing going on, with Corinth raisins, coffee liqueur, strong black liquorice and a wee salty edge. Bit like opening a box of Cuban cigars in a quiet room. Long, very chocolaty finish, dry in just the right way. Dazzling stuff, honestly 😌
