This dram's got a lovely deep gold colour in the glass. First sip, wow – it's meaty, almost like a rich ham or bouillon, with that savoury umami edge. Feels like a warming soup on a cold day. Then some sweeter notes pop up: hints of coconut wine and hot chocolate, blending into a café latte creaminess. The aftertaste brings figs, which is a nice touch. High strength, so it's quite punchy, but not overwhelming. There's a bit of shoe polish and a mentholy sherry kick that makes it complex. Pecans and chocolate weave through too. Overall, really enjoyable. 😊

Poured a dram and it’s got this lovely deep gold colour. First whiff is dead complex – kinda like sticking your nose in a walnut cake fresh from the oven, with some puréed chestnuts and a hint of shoe polish. Very good, though. Takes me back, this one. There’s this weird but brilliant note of prunes stuffed with marzipan and wrapped in bacon. Yeah, you heard me. Meaty, with a bit of umami that makes me think of miso or a rich bouillon. The doughy sweetness of a pecan cake is in there too, and more hot chocolate than you’d expect. It’s high strength alright, warms you right up. The sherry influence is mentholy and kinda funky, reminds me of coconut wine or walnut wine. Get some hay and figs coming through in the aftertaste. Every sip’s a bit different. Brilliant stuff 🥃🍫🥛

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 A bit smoky, sweet and warming, with a wee touch of spice. Feels like dried fruit, oak and honey by the fire. Nice lingering finish, quite comfy really.

Alright, had a proper go of this one. Nose is dead lovely - get a big hit of 🍯 honey and that classic stewed apple. Maybe a bit of 🍑 peachy, get me? First sip is all warm and nutty, like. Toasted almonds or summit. Then it opens up with this soft, woody spice. 🤔 Hints of cinnamon, maybe? It's all quite gentle though, not rough at all. Finish is nice and long, stays sweet with a touch of that woody spice. Really moreish. 👍 Just want another sip, innit.

Right, this whisky’s got a real kick to it, init? First sip and you’re hit with this deep smokiness, like a proper autumn bonfire. Then there’s a sweet, honeyish note that comes through – quite luvly, really. The finish lingers, warming you right up. Perfect for a rainy night in! 🥃😊 Oh, and a bit of fruitiness too, maybe some dried apple? Cheers!
