Whiskyspace Notes 2293

Had a young dram that feels like a clear notes of beer opener, with bready/oaky/spicy malt underneath. Cinnamon and nutmeg give a warm spice, while marc de gewürztraminer and a touch of less gewurztraminery linger like a grappa hint. There's a little light fruitiness – mandarins, pears and litchis – and a whisper of straw. Oak does not sing the lead but adds more oak spices, medium length finish. Fun stuff, you don’t even feel it creeping up, like a Rock Town session. 😄
