First sip hit me like a wave of dark fruit and old wood, really punchy and immediate. 🌲 Got some serious spice in there – black pepper and aniseed mixing with that bitter dark chocolate. It's quite a beast, honestly. The finish is long, warming, with hints of leather and something strangely savoury, like Bovril or black olive tapenade. It's a big, bold dram that leans quite bitter and oaky. A bit too brutal for my taste, but undeniably singular. 💨
