Hmm, this one’s a bit of a paradox. It smells kinda simple, like sticking your nose in a bag of barley sugar and fresh almonds. But then when you drink it… it’s got this really interesting, oily, waxy texture that totally grabs your attention. It’s like there’s a little whisper of orange liqueur and vanilla, but it’s mostly that clean, fruity spirit character. Gets a bit sooty and smoky in the finish, almost like pencil lead and a distant coal fire. Not a huge fruit bomb, mind you. It’s more about that structure and those interesting waxes. Kinda feels like a thought-provoking 2002 that’s grown wider and more complex, sitting there looking like a pale white wine. Simple at first glance, but there’s a real backbone to it. 😌
