This one’s got a proper solid kick to it, not overly fancy but in a good way. First sip hits you with a bit of heat, more like a warm embrace than anything harsh. The fruit comes through nicely – think oranges, bananas, maybe a touch of ginger and pepper lingering behind. Not the heavy, boozy kind of thing, more of a clean, dry finish that sticks around. Creamy texture, richer than some I’ve had, but still easygoing. There’s a subtle metallic edge, almost like tinned pineapple, which gives it a unique twist. Overall, a rather long and satisfying dram – quite robust, very typical of the style, and definitely holds its own without being too flashy. 🥃
