Bit of a perplexing dram, this one. I get bruised apples, fresh white bread, then a funny wee fermentary edge drifting in. There’s a pinch of salt too, like seawater and lemon, with cigarette and pipe ash hanging about. Gentle resins, tiny herbs, and a fino-like dryness, but there’s still a touch of sweetness keeping it all in a peculiar balance 🙂
