Right, cracked this one open tonight. First whiff is like walking past a greengrocer's in summer—green melon, ripe peaches, and a big squeeze of orange zest. Then comes this lovely floral note, like dog roses and honeysuckle from the garden. On the tongue it’s medium weight, not too heavy. Loads of fruit—think apple peelings and a rich apple compote. There’s a nice malty backbone, and a touch of vanilla, maybe from the oak. The oak itself is there but feels a bit like it didn’t quite settle in perfectly, if that makes sense. Honestly, I kept looking for the peat they say is in it, but I just couldn’t find it. Tasted more like a baby whisky that was meant to be peated but just… wasn’t. The finish leaves you with bags of fruit peelings and a hint of lime, almost like a zesty amber beer. A little jumbled, perhaps, but in a rather good way. I rather enjoyed it. 👍😄

Right then, let's have a go... First whiff is all stewed apples and a whiff of honey 🍯, like me nan’s kitchen on a Sunday. Not too heavy, a bit of a creamy vibe there too. Sip it... ooft, that's warm. Spicy little kick of cinnamon and maybe nutmeg 🌰. Then that fruit comes rollin' back – pears this time, dipped in toffee. Nice oily feel, coats yer mouth lovely. Finish is decent, a bit of that woody dryness and a last wee peppery tingle. Touch of malted biscuit at the very end, like a custard cream that's been left in the tin a tad too long. Proper cosy dram, that.

Alright, first sip... crikey, that's proper complex! 🥃 Smells like a cozy, smoky log cabin... and then a wave of sweet, spiced fruitcake hits ya. 🎄🍰 Loads of depth in there... I'm gettin' some oak and a lovely, warm vanilla finish. A proper winter dram, this is. Absolutely lovin' it. 😍 The aftertaste just lingers, ya know? A bit of dark chocolate maybe, and that smokiness comes back. Sensational. ✨

Blimey, this dram's got a lovely nose on it. 🥃 Got some vanilla and oak, with a bit of smokiness that's not too overdone. On the sip, it's smooth as anything, with hints of honey and maybe a touch of spice. 🍯🔥 The finish is warm and lingering, makes you want another go. Really pleasant, innit? 😊 A bit of fruitiness comes through too, like apples or pears. Can't put me finger on it all, but it's a proper good whisky. 🥃💨

Right then, had a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Nose is proper sweet, vanilla and honey mostly. 🍯 Takes a bit of breathing time to open up. On the tongue, it's smooth... bit of oak spice later. 🪵 Warmth spreads out nicely, no harsh burn. Finish lingers, makes you feel cosy. 😌 Definitly one for a quiet evening in. Lovely stuff really. 🍂
