Old Fitzgerald Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 6 Years Bourbon Whisky

Old Fitzgerald is a distinguished brand of wheated bourbon whiskey distilled in Louisville, Kentucky, with a heritage dating back to 1870. Originally crafted by John E. Fitzgerald for exclusive distribution to rail lines, steamships, and private gentlemen's clubs throughout the American South, the brand earned its reputation as a "railroad bourbon" of exceptional quality. The whiskey is renowned for its unique mash bill that substitutes wheat for the traditional rye, creating a softer, more approachable profile with notes of caramel, honey, and dried fruit. After changing hands through several major distilleries including the legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery—where Julian "Pappy" Van Winkle himself helped perfect the recipe—Old Fitzgerald is now produced by Heaven Hill Distillery. The brand has become particularly celebrated for its vintage decanter-style packaging and the highly sought-after Bottled-in-Bond series, which honors the legacy of pre-Prohibition craftsmanship. Today, Old Fitzgerald represents a connoisseur's choice, offering a glimpse into the golden age of American whiskey-making.
