Pale gold in the glass, looks inviting. On the nose, I get figs and pollen, like cut flowers just arranged. Loads of blood oranges come through – never found this many in any malt before! A bit of chamomile and honey, with beeswax and overripe plums in the mix. The taste is medium-long, short enough to savour but lasting. Definitely worth the wait. These '73s can kill, but hell, it's brilliant whisky! 😊
