Took a sip and immediately got that grassy smoke in the nose, like a peaty bonfire on a summer field. There's a minty kick underneath, fresh but not sharp. The barley comes through sweeter than I expected, maltier and more rounded. A good drop overall, nothing flashy but solid. Sweet dried fruit—figs and raisins—linger on the tongue, almost like overripe apples baked in honey. Then there's this vegetal thing, French beans and samphire maybe, earthy and green. The finish has a chalky tang, a bit like licking a stone wall, with hints of wakame and parsley. Not a lot going on, but it's got character. Blended honeys and waxes give it a soft, waxy body, while wild carrots and celeriac add a nutty depth. There's a whisper of varnish and gentian, not too bitter. Medium-bodied, maybe a notch indefinite in strength. Not much to say beyond that—it's just a nice, honest dram 🥃.

Blended honeys and waxes linger, but honestly, not much to say beyond that. It’s a notch indefinite — leaves you wondering if it’s missing something or just keeping its cards close. Not bad, though. Got this one going, and it's quite sweet with blended honeys. There's raisins and overripe apples, giving a cider-like feel. I notice some mint and eucalyptus, which is fresh, along with grassy smoke. The texture has waxes and a bit of varnish. Reminds me of samphire and French beans, with some parsley and wild carrots for earthiness. There's gentian and wakame adding complexity, and the chalk and straw come through in the finish. The barley-y action is sweeter, making it a medium, good drop. Not a lot more to say, really. 😊

这口酒刚入口，那股草本味儿就冲上来，像刚割完草的花园里透着股青涩劲儿。接着是一股淡淡的薄荷和泥土味，像是刚挖完野胡萝卜和芹菜根的菜园子。中间还夹着点干草和蜂蜡的香气，像是老式家具上那层薄薄的亮光。 过了一会儿，苹果味儿出来了，但不是脆生生的，而是软趴趴的熟透了，带点发酵的苹果酒味儿。隐约还有海藻和盐渍芹菜的影子，像是海边小摊上卖的那种小食。最后是一丝淡淡的奶油蜂蜜，像是抹在烤好的大麦饼上那种温和的甜。 整体不算太浓，但也不轻飘飘的，像是喝了一杯中等劲儿的烈酒，没什么特别夸张的地方，就是挺耐品的。

A good drop, that one. 🥃 Had a sort of blended honeys and waxes texture to it, medium body. Got wild carrots and celeriac at first, then some figs and raisins sweetness came through. A bit of cider acidity and a hint of varnish in the background. After a bit, some herbal notes – parsley and a whisper of mint. There was a sweeter barley-y action that developed, almost like toffee. Got a touch of samphire and something earthy, like gentian root. The finish had some overripe apples and a faint grassy note. Not a lot of smoke, more of a straw and light earthiness. A notch indefinite in parts, but pleasant. I’m not sure I’ll remember it forever, but it was a nice enough dram for a Tuesday. 😊
