Hmm, this one hits you with a real seaside vibe straight away – like wet beach pebbles and a bit of flint. There’s a lovely oily, almost resinous citrus thing going on, some lime zest and lemon thyme maybe. Then it gets properly full on: loads of textured, oily peat smoke, but wrapped in this superbly beautiful old fruitiness – I’m getting mango puree and tropical fruit jellies, almost syrupy. There’s a bit of that old medicines and hessian character too, not sharp, just gentle. A long, clean finish that’s pretty much pure coal smoke and drying. Quite brilliant, really. 👍

Not as crazy as some others, but straightforward and superbly beautiful in its own way. 😊 Metallic flints and old rope add depth, and it's full of that classic 1960s vibe.
