Justhad a dram that tasted like crème brûlée aged in a Bordeaux cask – burnt wood, a touch of burnt cake, ginger and green spices weaving through. The finish is quite long, like strolling through foliage after rain, with a playful capsicum kick that leaves me totally ecstatic. It’s a nice mixture, superior to the usual, though the masala note feels a bit pointless. 😊

This one’s a bit of a mixed bag, honestly. 一开始闻着有点像蛋糕糊了，混着些红椒和干香料，让我想起印度香料角。口感倒是挺冲，有点辣椒水的感觉，还带点烧焦的木头味。 慢慢能尝出点焦糖布丁和花瓣的甜味，但跟那些香料混在一起，总觉得有点东拉西扯，不太协调。 回味还挺长，是香料和一点点草木的味道。说实话，不是特别让我开心的那种，但也不是糟糕透顶——就是有点奇怪吧。 🤔

Just had a dram of something rather unusual. The colour’s a deep, dark gold, lovely to look at. On the nose, I’m getting a total jumble of scents. First hit is sweet, like crème brûlée and a bit of raisin bread, but then there’s this savoury thing – a mixture of burnt wood and bay leaves? Oddly, a hint of peonies too. The taste is… well, it’s quite a ride. Definitely get that ginger and pepper kick, and a really distinct note of burnt cake. Not a clean burn, more like the edge of a cake left in too long. There’s a definite Bordeaux cask influence in there, you can tell. The finish is quite long, with that peppery heat and a lingering leafiness, like damp foliage. It’s a superior drop, for sure, and some bits are really nice, but the overall effect is a bit of a muddle. Not immensely pleasant as a whole, to be honest. It’s a bit like meeting a giraffe at a party – fascinating and totally unique, but you’re not sure you’d want to sit down and have a long chat with it. 🤷‍♂️ Not totally ecstatic, but interesting.

酒液是深金色的，看着挺诱人。 闻起来有股红色辣椒的辛辣感，混着干燥香料和一点绿色香料的味道，还有点像葡萄干面包，甚至带点烧焦蛋糕的气息……说实话有点杂，不太和谐。 口感倒是挺柔和，让我想起湿润的蛋糕和些许马萨拉香料，还有隐约的牡丹花瓣似的甜香。 枝叶的清新感闪了一下，但很快又被香料盖过去了。 整体不算平衡，但喝着并不讨厌——中后段那点葡萄干面包的温暖反而让人觉得挺舒适。 虽然谈不上完美，但在这个价位里也算不错了，比许多同类型的酒要好喝太多。 😊

Quite cosy, tbh 🥃 I get soft caramel, a bit of spice, some dried fruit and a gentle oaky warmth. Feels smooth, mellow, and a little smoky at the end. Nice for a quiet evening, not too fussy.
