Honestly, this one’s got a sort of pale, almost see-through vibe – reminds me of white asparagus juice a bit. Tastes pretty fresh, kinda like a good Granny Smith apple mixed with a light barley eau-de-vie. There’s this tiny yogurt tang in the background too. Texture’s medium, not too heavy. Funny enough, it gives me flashbacks to my toddler’s gym socks from the laundry bag – in a weirdly good way? 😅 A hint of Curacao orange peeks through. Barely any wood influence, which I don’t mind. Flavours roll into white chocolate, a touch of peppermint syrup, and that lovely barley syrup sweetness. It’s like a light, sister-batch dram that doesn’t try too hard. Quite enjoyable for a casual pour.

说实话这杯酒颜色浅得让我有点意外，几乎是透明的，感觉特别年轻，像刚蒸馏出来的newmakey。 一喝就有股纯压碎的barley味道，带着点grist的粗糙感，居然还飘着一丝toddler‘s gym socks的古怪气息？😄 接着居然尝到cappuccino的回甘，混着white chocolate的奶甜，但整体又很pretty naked，没怎么被木头影响。 中段忽然亮起来，granny smith青苹果和drop of lime juice的酸爽跳出来，接着变成mentholly and sugary的发展，有点像peppermint syrup化在苹果汁里。尾段居然有点little yoghurt的酵感和porridge的稠滑。 整体来说像杯有想法的eau-de-vie de barley，比那个official 18更合我胃口。curação的橙皮香若隐若现，偶尔闪过一丝something slightly acetic… 但居然挺和谐？🤔 居然觉得sister batch里这瓶更对我胃口。

刚尝了一口，感觉 pretty simple，有 barley syrup 的甜，颜色 virtually white。 闻起来是 pure crushed barley 的味道，但 something slightly acetic 让我联想到 toddler's gym socks，有点搞笑 😂。 very little wood，所以风味挺 naked 的。 加点 drop of lime juice 后，更 to my liking，还有点 granny smith 的酸甜。 余味有 cappuccino 和 white chocolate 的影子，mentholy and sugary development 挺明显。 official 18 那种可能会掩盖这个，但我觉得 perfectly good one。sister batch 应该类似吧。

Quite cosy, this one. Warm honey, a bit of dried fruit, soft spice, and a wee oaky kick at the end 🥃 Feels mellow but not boring — proper nice for a quiet evening.

Ach, proper nice dram this. 🍐 Pear and apple right off, then some sweeet vanilla and honey. Got a bit of wood smoke and spice from the oak, like. Finishes with a touch of dry fruit and some peaty earthiness. 🌳🔥
