Bit of a funny one, this. I get soft vanilla and ripe banana first, then it swerves into olives, brine and salted liquorice. There’s a wee acetone/camphor lift, plus that engine oil and gently petroly thing going on. Feels a bit like golden grain whisky wandered into heavy Jamaican rum wood. Salty, odd, but quite moreish 😄 Medium finish, with olives and liquorice hanging about.
