Quite a curious dram, this. I get a warm gold sweetness at first, then it turns all earthy and rooty, like gentian, celeriac and fennel, with a wee flash of tired mango liqueur. There’s loads of old-school medicinal stuff too, camphor, bandages, embrocation, like a beach bonfire drifting past a chemist’s cupboard. Odd, but really lovely 😊

Ooh, this one’s interesting. Right away, I’m getting this lovely medium body, really even better balanced than I expected. There’s a smoky note, but it’s not just smoke—it’s like lapsang souchong tea and smoked fish, weirdly nice. Then there’s this… industrial thing? New wellies, more new rubbers, tar liqueur. Not unpleasant, just… present. Like a Dr Frankenstein blend, somehow works. It’s got this peppery kick and a hint of seawater, maybe from the scuba suit feeling. The finish has this greasy, spent oils vibe—new Pirellis and sauna oils. But wait, there’s pineapples in there? And something almondy. A bit of a shame the notes aren’t exactly well-married, but the overall balance is way better. Good one, really. Like old cars and bikes. 🏍️

Mmm, alright. 🤔 First sip... oh, that's lovely. Smells like a autumn bonfire in the distance, all smoky and a bit sweet. A hint of apple peel, maybe? On the tongue... warm! Like honey and vanilla, but then a proper kick of spice. 🌶️ Gets you right at the back. There's a salty tang in there too, like sea air. Finish is long and warming. A bit of that peat smokiness sticks around. Like a good hug from the inside. 👍 No complaints here. Just proper sippin' stuff.
