Just had a glass. On the nose, I'm getting this lovely cherry wood and candied orange peel – reminds me of Christmas cake, honestly. There's a touch of spice, maybe cloves, and something nutty underneath. The palate is... interesting. Like biting into a Seville orange, but then it shifts into something more candied and spicy, almost like those anis biscuits. The oak is there, but it doesn't dominate – it's more of a warm frame. It feels quite full, swims nicely. The finish has this long, spicy warmth, with a hint of pu-erh tea and walnuts. Strange, but I'm left with this lingering note of old woodwork, like a carpenter's shop, and just a ghost of cigar smoke. Quite the character! 🥃

Right, had a glass of this last night and here's what I reckon... First thing that hit me was this lovely golden colour in the glass. Gave it a sniff and immediately got these Seville orange vibes, bit of blood orange too maybe. Very Christmassy actually 🎄 The oak's there but it doesn't get in the way, you know? Not trying to steal the show. There's this nutty sherry thing going on, almost like walnut cake your nan used to make. Felt a bit like being in a carpenter's workshop with some wood shavings about, but in a good way. Took a sip and blimey, it's rich alright. Got this spiced Christmas cake thing, candied fruits and spice all wrapped together. Reminded me of those Haribo gummy bears oddly enough? That wee feeling of sweetness. There's definitely some pu-erh tea depth in there too. After a while noticed a bit of tobacco leaf, maybe a lit cigarette from across the room even. Some caraway seed kicking about in the background. Almost like new upholstery smell mixed with good humus earthiness. It just swims like a champ in the glass honestly. Very moreish. Would happily have another tonight 🥃

First sip – whoa, that's a proper smokey hit! Like a bonfire on a chilly eve. 🔥 Then it mellows into summat sweet, maybe honey or vanilla, nice an' smooth. 🍯 A bit of spice too, kind of a kick in the back of the throat. Reminds me of autumn walks. 🍂 Finsh is long an' warm, leaves ye feelin' cozy. 👌 Not bad at all, innit?

Wow, this whiskey's got a real warmth to it. 🥃 Tastes like smoky vanilla and honey, with a smooth finish. 👌 A bit of fruitiness too, maybe apples or somethin'. Perfect for chillin' by the fire. 🔥
