First thing I get is this sort of waxy smell, like old candle stubs, but then there's this fresh, menthol-y sweetness, almost like a cough syrup in a good way. With a drop of water, it blooms into honey and citrus peel, like marmalade on toast. The taste is surprisingly light and fruity. Lots of juicy mandarins and a bit of that sharp pink grapefruit bitterness. There’s a creamy, sugary note in the middle that really reminds me of the fondant inside a cream egg. Right at the back, a little pinch of white pepper warms things up, and I get this fleeting idea of a dusty attic with old hay bales. It hangs around for a decent time, leaving a memory of peaches and that weird, pleasant paraffin wax smell. Yeah, this is a proper easy sipper. 🥃
