Quite waxy at first, then it turns fruity with grapefruit and a wee splash of white wine. I get fresh mint, peppery liquorice, a bit of gingerbread and honeydew too. Then it goes earthier, almost damp soil and humus, but in a nice cosy way. Long finish, very enjoyable actually 🙂

Just had a dram of this, and gotta say – it's a complex spirit. The nose hits with apples, mint, and a grassy edge. When you taste it, same flavours come through: rich, beautifully waxy, and there's this earthy humus note that’s lovely. A little cough syrup sweetness lingers, and the finish is long, with ginger popping up. It feels more phenolic than its bros, making it earthier and waxier as it opens. Plus, there's a hint of Muesli-like nuttiness. Honestly, top notch malt whisky. Hurray! 👍 Buy this bottle, seriously.

Wow，开瓶就是一股子蜜瓜和青草的清甜，鼻子凑近一闻，嗯，有点蜂蜡那种滑腻的感觉，但又不腻。仔细品，居然能喝出点麦片粥和黑麦面包的粮食香，挺扎实的。 中间段开始有点意思了，薄荷的清凉感和一丝丝姜的暖意混在一起，底下还埋着点甘草和湿泥巴的土腥气？不是坏了那种哈，是像雨后花园的土壤，挺特别的。尾韵特别长，嘴巴里一直是蜡质和麦芽糖的甜，还带点白葡萄酒的酸度平衡着。 说实话，这酒层次是真复杂，一杯下去脑子里蹦出好几种画面。比它家别的款要带劲儿一点，更有点高地那种粗犷的劲儿，不像斯佩塞那么柔。唔…有点想再来一杯，而且这个价钱能喝到这种水平，我觉得挺值的。

Just cracked open this bottle – immediate hit of citrus peel and fresh ginger right on the nose. 🤧 The mouthfeel is beautifully waxy, almost like a beeswax candle but in a good way? It's got more phenolic than its siblings, with a deep, earthy quality underneath. Like wet autumn leaves and grass after rain. I'm getting porridge oats too, mixed with that familiar little cough syrup note some folks enjoy. The finish goes on and on... mint, more citrus, and that persistent waxiness. Bloody complex spirit this. Plus, plus, plus – so many layers to unpack with each sip! 🥃 Hurray! Definitely a keeper.

Oh wow, this one's a real treat from the first sniff. Beautifully waxy on the nose, with a lovely citrusy lift. And yes, I'd say it's even waxier on the palate! 🫠 It's rich and almost porridge-like in a comforting way. Same flavours as in the nose, but they just keep going. Definitely more phenolic than its bros, which I love - hurray! 🔥 I'm getting fresh mint and apples, with a touch of humus and grass. Very earthier and complex. There's a white wine crispness cutting through, making it feel rather more ‘Highlands’ than ‘Speyside’ to me. A complex spirit that keeps giving. Plus, plus, plus... Honestly, I don’t think it’s expensive for what it is. Buy this bottle, you won't regret it. 😄
