Just had a sip of this one – it's oily with a graphite oil slickness, pretty unsexy and austere, honestly. Dry as anything, with grassy straw and a hint of lemon. Mineral and soot notes come through, like heavy green tea, giving it a full, assertive profile, but it lacks a little more power. Old Highlands style, very elegant. Shoe polish on the nose, smoky with a bit of pepper. Sweet and rounded things peek out, but that cardboardy finish lingers. 🥃
