Sipped this dram and got a hit of precious hardwood resins mixed with mechanical oils, then a whisper of eucalyptus and mentholated notes, like a herbal cough syrup wrapped in soft waxes. There’s a wee salty and resinous edge, a touch of iodine and tiny hints of mercurochrome, finishing ever so slightly shortened but still pure pleasure – totally old school, utterly, effortlessly brilliant 🥃

First sip and it’s like someone’s cracked open a dusty apothecary cabinet—rich bone marrow vibes, that gooey exotic fruit pulp clinging to the sides, and a whisper of delicate peat that’s all smoke and no burn. The texture? Chock full of waxes, soft and coating, like Barbour grease left in a woodshop. Herbal cough syrup and mentholated notes dance about, but it’s never cloying—just a proper old-school medicinal tincture vibe. Salinity creeps in, stunning and salty without being brash. The finish is ever so slightly shortened, but those precious hardwood resins and iodine linger like the ghost of a pine forest. Rare as hen’s teeth, this dram—a textbook example of what they used to make proper whisky back when men were men and you needed a stiff drink to get through Tuesday. Pure pleasure, honestly. 🥃

Ahh, this one's lovely. 😊 Got a real warmth to it on the nose – like honey and a bit of that gentle peat smoke. Think I'm getting some citrus too, maybe orange peel? Taste wise, it's got a lovely vanilla and chocolate note, really smooth. There's a nice oakiness and a touch of apple. 🍎 The finish is long, with some caramel and a tiny bit of spice. It's got that classic, comforting feel. Perfect for a wee dram on a chilly evening. 👍 Got a bit of salt in there too, which I quite like. Really well balanced.

Right, so this one's got a real smoky vibe at first, like a bonfire on a damp night 🔥. Then you get these sweet notes - think honey and maybe some ripe fruit. Och, and there's a wee bit of spice at the end, like cinnamon. Quite warming, perfect for a chilly evening. 🥃 The mouthfeel's nice and smooth, no harsh burn. A good dram, that.

This one's got a lovely 🍎 apple and honey sweetness upfront, with a hint of 🍂 cinnamon and smoke. The finish is long and warming – super smoot! Really dig it.
