This one hits you with a blast of pink grapefruit right away, super citrusy but in a really bright, pleasant way. It's got this thick, porridge-like texture that feels awesome on the tongue, like a really rich, fruity porridge. Then I get this cooked rhubarb and green walnut note, almost like a slightly tart compote. It's not woody at all, just pure fruit and malt. The finish is long, with more of that citric zing fading into a lovely, husky maltiness. Honestly, it reminds me more of a good ale or even a fruity white wine than a typical beer. There's a fantastic raw malt character here, for sure. 🍊

Just had a dram – the finish is long, really sticks around. That raw barley hits straight away, awesome raw maltiness. No wood in the way, so it's clean with a chalky note, almost white wine-ish. The body's impressive, porridge-thick, honestly more porridge than at Porridge, Porridge & Sons 😂 Then pink grapefruits come through, giving a compotey feeling. Wonderful stuff, extremely Glen-Elginy. Regular ones are decent, but this one's special.

This one's way fruitier than I expected—shock-full of pink grapefruits! 🍊 There's even a chalky, almost green walnuts vibe underneath. Kind of reminds me of a crisp white wine... or even a really good craft beer? It’s got this lovely compotey feeling, like stewed rhubarb without the sweetness being too much. The finish is long and citric in a good way, with raw barley notes peeking through. Honestly, an impressive body here—way fuller than regular ones as well. What I really like is there's no wood in the way; it's all about those bright, fresh flavours. Really enjoyable! 👍

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 I get honey, soft spice, a bit of oak, and some dried fruit. Feels smooth, slightly smoky, with a wee peppery tingle at the end. Nice for a quiet evening.

Quite warm and cosy, with a soft sweetness up front 🥃 I get a bit of vanilla, dried fruit, gentle spice, and a wee smoky edge. Finish is mellow, slightly oaky, and nicely lingering. Feels like a good slow sipper on a chilly evening.
