Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Ahh, this dram's got a lovely smoky aroma 🥃 – reminds me of a bonfire on the moors. Peaty notes come through too, earthy and robust. Then, sweet honey and vanilla kick in, so smooth and comforting. Oaky finish with a hint of spice and dried fruit – maybe apple or pear? Floral touches and caramel make it well-rounded. Tastes like sittin' by the fireplace with a good book. Could swear there's a bit of dark chocolate at the end. Really moreish! 😋 Sometimes it's a bit "peaty" or "fruity" – but in a good way, ya know? Goes down a treat on a rainy afternoon.

Oh, this whisky's got a lovely warm kick to it, straight away! 🥃 First sip, there's a hint of apple and honey, kinda sweet but not too much. Then, after a bit, a touch of smoke comes through – like a campfire in the distance. 🔥 The finish is smooth and lingers on the tongue, leaving you all cozy inside. Proper nice, I'd say! 😌 Sometimes, I get a bit of vanilla and oak too, which is rite pleasant. 🥰

Oh, this one's a bit of a gem, innit? 👍 On the nose, you get hints of honey and a whisper of smoke 🔥. It's smooth as anything going down, with a touch of spice that lingers just right. Really makes you wanna savour it, like. 😊

Oh wow this one's proper lovely! 🥃 First sip you get hit with this gorgeous vanilla sweetness, like creamy stuff init. Then theres a bit of spice kickin in, cinnamon maybe? Could be nutmeg too idk The smoke comes thru after, not too heavy mind you, just enought to keep things intresting 🌫️ Dried fruit notes aswell, plums and raisins sorta thing. Bit of toffee n caramel, very moreish. Maybe sum oak in there too Really warming on the way down, smooth as anything. Lingers on the tongue nicely 😊 Honestly could sit with this all evening, its got proper depth to it 9/10 would definately have again 👍

Aye, this dram's got hints of smoke an' honey on the nose. 🥃 Tastes smooth with a touch of vanilla an' a spicy kick. Finish is warm an' lingerin'. Quite nice, innit? 😊 A bit o' fruitiness there too, I reckon. Reminds me of a cozy evening by the fire. 🔥
