Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right, had a dram earlier 🥃. Nose is proper lovly, hints of vanilla and maybe some dried fruit? Like raisins or sultanas. Bit of oak too. Taste is warm, goes down smoth but got a little kick 🔥. Sweet at first then turns spicy. Cinamon maybe? Or clove. Quite comlex if I'm honset. Finish lingers for ages. Makes you wanna sit by the fire. Definatly one for a quiet evening. Not too smoky which is nice. Would have another glass tho. 😌

Smoky peat on the nose 🔥, bit o' caramel and vanilla underneath. Get a real honey-sweetness upfront 🍯, then some stewed fruit an' malt comes through. Finish is all warm spice an' a bit o' wood, lingers nicely. Bit of a spicy kick there! 😄

Right, so first sip... Loads of honey and toffee, proper sweet init 🍯 Then boom - some lovely vanilla kicks in, almost like custard Wait a sec... there's a bit of cinammon coming throgh now? 🤔 Ooh and some dark chocolate at the back, nicee Honeslty it's getting better as it opens up A touch of orange peel maybe? Or is it lemon... hard to say 🍊 The finish tho... quite long, a bit of smoke lingerin about Really warming stuff this, perfect for a cold evening 🥃 Fruit cake vibes, you know? Like christmas cake or summit Rather good all round I reckon 👍

5#5

Yeah, this whisky's got a lovely smoky taste 🥃, with hints of vanilla and maybe some caramel. There's a bit of fruitiness too, like dried apples or something. It warms you up nicely, quite peaty which I enjoy. 😊 Oh, and a slight spicyness on the finish, makes it interesting. Really smooth though, easy to sip.

Well, this one's quite the experience, innit? 🥃 Started off with a right lovely smokey nose – like a cozy bonfire, really. Then got these fruity notes, apple and pear maybe? A bit of spice kicks in, nothing too harsh, just warming. The finish is smooth, a tad dry, with a hint of honey. Absolutely smashing for a chilly evening. 😊 Cheers!
