Kilchoman Single Cask 2012 8 Years Single Malt Whisky

Oh crikey, this dram's proper smoky at first, like a campfire 🔥. Then you get all that honey and pear sweetness coming through, really smooth on the palate. A bit of vanilla and spice too, lingers nicely. Moreish! 😋 Sometimes I reckon there's a hint of toffee, but it's all blended well. Not too strong, just right for a wee sip.

Some citrus an' ginger notes, I reckon. 🍊 Finish is long, kinda warm an' oaky. Leaves a taste of dark chocolate an' a hint of dried fruit. Quite nice, really. 👍 Just a solid, warm dram for a cold night. Does the job.
