Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, had a wee dram of this tonight 🥃. Proper nice colur, like gold innit. Nose is smoky, bit of peat 🔥. Maybe some apple 🍎 hiding in there. Taste? Warm going down. Spicy kick but smoth-ish. Finish lasts quite awhile. Makes you wanna sit by the fire. Definatly a good one for a rainy evening 🌧️. Cheers!
Aye, this one. Nose is all peat smoke n' honey, bit of brine sneakin' in. 🥃 Palate’s oily sweet wi' a pepper kick, gets right complex. Finish is long, warm, buttery... oak lingers. Proper dram, that. 👌
Hmm, got this one here. First sip? Smokey, kinda like a bonfire night 🎆 but gentle, y'know? Then a bit of honey sweetness creeps in, lovely. Finish is long, warm. Got some woody notes, vanilla maybe? 🍦 The smokiness lingers, not harsh though. Proper autumn dram, this. Gonna savour it. slightly charred oak & a hint of... is that citrus? 🍊 Very nice balance. Cheers! 🥃
Right then, that's a proper dram! 🥃 First off, gettting big notes of ripe pear and apple, almost like a sunny orchard. Then there's this lovely bit o' honey and malty sweetness coming through. After a tick, some nice vanilla and a hint of chocolate appears. Finishes with a gentle, smoky warmth and a bit of dryness. Lotss to unpack here! 😄 Very moreish.
Right, this whisky's got a proper woody feel 🪵, like you're sitting by an old fireplace. A bit of honey sweetness comes through 🍯, maybe some hints of dried fruits too. Spice-wise, it's got that warm kick, not too much but noticeable 🌶️. Oh, and a smoky edge, subtle but nice 🔥. Overall, it's kinda like a cozy autumn evening, you know? 🥃
A right proper whisky, this. Smels of peat and a bit of heather. 🌿 First sip, you get a burst of smoke – quite earthy, innit? 🌍 Then some fruity notes come thru, maybe apple or pear. 🍎 Aftertaste is spicy and warm, with a touch of honey. 🍯🔥 Finish lingers on, really enjoy it. 👍 Cheers! 🥃
Blimey, this whisky's got some proper rich notes, innit? Starts with a bit of woody and spicy, then fades into a smooth, sweet finish. Love it! 👍🥃 Sometimes a tad smoky, but cracking overall.
Nose: Bit of smokiness with some fruit coming through, like apples or pears. 🍎 Palate: Smooth at first, then a wave of spice and vanilla. Feels quite rich and warming. Finish: Long and slightly peaty, with a hint of honey. Really nice! 🍯 Overall, a proper dram for a cold night. Cheers! 🥃
