Elijah Craig 8 Years Bourbon Whisky

Elijah Craig is a distinguished premium and super-premium bourbon whiskey brand produced by Heaven Hill Distilleries in Bardstown, Kentucky. Named after Reverend Elijah Craig, the 18th-century Baptist minister often credited as the 'Father of Bourbon' for pioneering the charred oak barrel aging process, the brand embodies American whiskey heritage. The flagship Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon (47% ABV / 94 proof) delivers exceptional value in the premium segment, featuring a mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye, aged 8-12 years. The highly acclaimed Elijah Craig Barrel Proof (varies by batch, typically 60-70% ABV) represents the super-premium tier, offering uncut, non-chill filtered bourbon straight from the barrel, with age statements ranging from 12-13 years. Both expressions showcase rich notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and spice. The brand has garnered numerous accolades, including multiple 'Whiskey of the Year' awards for its Barrel Proof variant. Available primarily in 750ml glass bottles with distinctive packaging featuring the brand's signature copper and burgundy color scheme, Elijah Craig targets discerning whiskey enthusiasts seeking authentic, full-flavored Kentucky straight bourbon with historical provenance.
