Miltonduff 1980 32 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, first off, the nose... immediate hit of warm, sweet oak, like a proper old cabinet. 🪵 Then you get this lovely waft of vanilla cream and maybe a bit of orange peel? On the palate, it's got this smooth, waxy feel. A bit of smoke there, but not a bonfire - more like the embers. 🌿 Oh, and a touch of something nutty, like toasted almonds. The finish? Long and warming. Really coats the mouth. Leaves you with a gentle spice and that comforting, honeyed sweetness. Proper good stuff for a quiet evening. 👍

Nose is lovely - vanilla and honey hit you straight away 🍯 bit of orange peel coming through, maybe some cinnamon aswell Really smooth on the palate, quite creamy actualy. Dark chocolate comes through with some dried fruit like raisins and fig. Little bit of ginger warmth at the back Finish lingers nicely 🔥 touch of smoke and oak. Warming all the way down Getting some leather and a bit of biscuit as it opens up. Love a dram like this on a cold night tbh 🍂
