Right, so I tried this whisky last night – first sip hit me with grapefruit juice, kinda like a cocktail made out of citron liqueur but simpler. Then I noticed green bananas and cold green tea, which was fun. The body felt a bit weak, flesh is weak, you know? White wine vibes with white fruitiness. Very grassy, plain grass and grassy mezcal, with a chalky, steely edge. A little austere, yet lovingly austere in a way. The easiness to drink it was nice. Hints of ginger liqueur and rhubarb, finish quite long. Au naturel feel, with green apples and graphite oil notes. Not a very expressive juice, but natural. Some porridge and sour dough, and a touch of Schweppes. 🍹
