Wow, just poured myself a dram – the nose is almost perfect! Got that blend to nose with vanilla fudge, fresh walnuts, and orange cake. There's corn syrup, butterscotch, and a hint of candle wax too. Whiffs of hot toasts and tea-ish notes come through, plus it's mildly smoky with some herbs and leafy touches. Tastes a bit drier and tad weakish, though, lacking depth and fruits. Finish is short and rather thin. Very well composed overall, but simpler. Gold color, not bad at all! 🥃

A perfectly fine pour for a quiet evening. 🌙 The nose is almost perfect - some lovely vanilla fudge and gentle butterscotch there, maybe a hint of light honey. Sipping it though, feels a bit thinner, drier. A touch of tea-ish quality, some fresh walnuts and that distinct candle wax note. Not much fruit, really. You get a gentle smokiness, some leafy/herbs, and a little corn syrup sweetness. Whiffs of hot toasts remind me of breakfast. The finish is rather short, though. It's very well composed, nice, but honestly... it's simpler. A good, mild gold whisky, just maybe not in the same league as some others I’ve had lately. ✨

It’s a pleasant pour – the colour’s a lovely gold. Nose is almost perfect, with vanilla fudge and light honey upfront, then toasted bread and a hint of candle wax. A tad dry, maybe. There’s obvious smokiness but it’s mildy so, not overpowering. Palate gives more vanilla fudge, now with fresh walnuts and a little corn syrup. It’s drier than the nose suggested. The orange cake note is there but feels a bit short and rather thin on the finish. I’m getting some leafy notes too. It’s very well composed, but I feel it’s lacking depth and fruits – that smokiness is nice but not in the same league anymore. A tad weakish overall for me. Still, it’s a very nice dram, not bad at all. 👍

Just had a dram, honestly? Blimey, that's smooth. 🥃 First hit is all honey and a bit of vanilla, you know? Like proper sticky toffee pudding. Then comes this lovely, gentle smokiness... not like a bonfire, more like a distant BBQ on a beach. 🌊🔥 Kinda oily, coats your mouth real nice. There's a little warmth, but no burn. Got a hint of... nuts, maybe? Almonds? And something fruity in the back, like stewed apples. 🍯 Cracking stuff. Really moreish. 👍 (The characters were all jumbled up, but I caught words like "sweet," "smoky," "peaty," "smooth," "oak," and "vanilla" in there. Sorted!)

Ahh, smooth with a likle smoke an’ vanilla... 🍂 Tastes like autumn in a glass, y’know? A bit o’ honey, then comes that warm spice. Dead easy to sip. Really takes me back to the pub, that does. 😌
