Last night's dram had a lovely nose – whiffs of hot toasts, vanilla fudge, and orange cake. A bit of corn syrup and tea-ish notes too, almost perfect. Very nice gold color 😊 Taste-wise, it's drier, tad dry, with butterscotch and light honey. Hints of candle wax, herbs, and leafy undertones. Smokiness is obvious, mildly smoky. Lacks depth and fruits, and feels tad weakish. Finish is short and rather thin. Not bad at all, very well composed, but simpler – nice but not in the same league anymore. 🥃

Trying this whisky out tonight. It's a bit lacking depth and fruits, to be honest. The finish is short and rather thin. 😕 But the smokiness? Oh, very nice! I get light honey notes, making it simpler than some. Color's like gold, and there's a corn syrup sweetness. Mildly smoky with hints of herbs. Drier than I expected, a bit weakish. Has a tea-ish vibe, with butterscotch and toasted bread. 🍞 Not bad for a casual sip.

Wow, this whisky's got a proper smoky kick! 😋 Sweet notes of caramel and a hint of spice, makes me feel all warm inside. The finish is smooth, with a touch of oak and something fruity in there. Quite enjoyful, innit? 🥃😊 Occasionally a bit of maltiness comes through, making it a nice sipper on a rainy day. Good stuff!
